The first thing I noticed is that Breeze Airways is a mobile-first airline, which means their check-in process is mainly designed to be handled online or through their app. The Breeze app is very user-friendly, cleanly designed, and easy to navigate. I received a notification 24 hours before my flight reminding me that check-in was open. Within a few taps, I had my seat confirmed, my boarding pass saved to my phone, and all flight details easily accessible. For travelers comfortable with smartphones, the app offers a hassle-free experience.

One of the things I appreciated was that Breeze allows you to check in online starting 24 hours before departure, similar to most airlines. However, unlike traditional airlines, Breeze doesn’t have an extensive presence at airport counters. Instead, they focus on self-service kiosks at select airports and rely heavily on digital processes to streamline operations and cut costs. This might feel unfamiliar to some travelers used to full-service carriers, but for me, it worked well and helped avoid long lines.

Because I was traveling light with only a personal item, I didn’t need to check any bags.
